This is perfect combination for dinner…poori with varied flavor to it by adding finally chopped spinach and garlic.. Then comes the mutton ularthiyathu which is a typical kerela dish.It can be made into gravy by little water or can be made dry as the name says ularthiyathu which means some what making it dry …here i have made it semi roast not too watery not too dry perfect for a poori..

Ingredients
SPINACH GARLIC POORI
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- 1/2 cup spinach Finely chopped
- 2 tsps garlic Chopped / grated
- to taste Salt
- Water for kneading
Marination::
- 1/2 kg Mutton
- 1 1/2 tbsps Coriander powder
- 1/2 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt
Roast and grind
- 1 - 11/2 tsps Fennel seeds
- 2 Cloves
- 2 Cardomom
- 1/2 inch Cinamon stick
Masala
- 2 tbsps Coconut oil
- 3 Onion chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger paste
- 2 tbsps Garlic paste
- 1 Redchillies
- 1/2 cup Coconut sliced
- 1 Tomatoes
- 3/4 tsp Pepper powder
- Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves

Instructions
- SPINACH GARLIC POORI. Take a bowl add wheat flour , salt ,chopped spinach,grated garlic and add little by little water and knead to a stiff poori dough.keep this for 10 mins then roll into small sized poori and deep fry it.....
- MUTTON ULARTHIYATHU. Dry roast fennel seeds , cloves , cardomom,cinnamon and grind to fine powder
- marinate the mutton with given ingredients under marination for 1 hour minimum half n hour.In a cooker add the marinated mutton ,water and cook
- In another pan add coconut oil ,redchillies , curryleaves, chopped onion saute it till wet then add ginger and garlic paste
- Then add sliced coconut pieces (If u add this piece it will enhance the taste ..i cudnt get it so i added grated coconut but only 1/4cup).cook this till brown.
- Then add cooked mutton along with the liquid left ,chopped tomatoes mix it well and gook till semi dry then add ground powder, pepper powder
- Finally garnish with corianderleaves and serve hot...
